What an amazing experience. I feel very lucky to have been part of a brilliant and supportive group – led expertly by our local guide “Ox”. The cycling was continuously varied, exhilarating and often very challenging – but the group made the whole experience enjoyable and memorable. The “uphills” were tough, but the “downhill” sections required high levels of sustained concentration to ensure safe passage – given the mixture of road conditions encountered.
Ox was a fantastic group leader, who provided information, advice and support when required. His local knowledge was fantastic and he was always looking out for the health and well being of the group. The location and quality of the accommodation was amazing and almost always exceeded my expectations. I would thoroughly recommend this trip, but don’t underestimate the technical riding skills required to fully enjoy and appreciate this amazing part of the world.
